DogRidge Vineyards

Hidden-gem Blewitt Springs estate by Pedler Creek

A relaxed family-run cellar door tucked away in McLaren Flat, pouring estate-grown shiraz, grenache and whites with genuine hospitality.

A country cellar door with character

DogRidge sits on a quiet stretch of Bagshaws Road near Pedler Creek, where the Jackson family crafts wines from some of the oldest grenache bush vines in McLaren Vale. The cellar door is deliberately unfussy - proper glassware, a chatty host and no pretension.

What to pour

Expect old-vine grenache, shiraz and a well-priced line of whites. Tastings are usually walk-in friendly, though groups of six or more should book ahead.
